AVA Shirt: Amoode's Bestselling Style

The AVA Shirt – A Bestselling Women’s Shirt Designed for Everyday and Beyond

There’s a shirt that keeps selling out.
Not because we push it — but because the women who wear it come back for it in every new fabric we find.

That’s AVA.

AVA has become a favourite for a reason. It’s designed with a comfortable fit that moves with you, while still enhancing your natural shape. The cut sits neatly across the chest, creating a clean and flattering line, and the sleeves add a distinctive, graphic silhouette that sets it apart.

It’s feminine without feeling delicate — a confident piece that makes a subtle statement. Easy to style for both work and weekend, AVA is one of those shirts you reach for again and again because it simply works.

What Makes a Shirt a Good Design?

3 Things that matter to AMOODE

A good shirt is not just about how it looks on a hanger — it’s about how it works in your life.

At Amoode, we come back to three things:

  1. You feel comfortable wearing it
The fit allows movement and feels natural on the body — not restrictive, not overdesigned.
  2. You get compliments when you wear it
Something about the cut, the fabric or the details stands out — in a quiet, confident way.
  3. It stays in your wardrobe over time
The quality holds its shape, and the design doesn’t feel outdated after one season.

AVA Shirt is designed with this in mind.

A Comfortable and Flattering Shirt Fit That Enhances Your Shape

AVA Shirt is built around balance.

The fit is relaxed, but not oversized. It gives space to move, while still creating a defined silhouette. The chest sits neatly without pulling, and the proportions are carefully adjusted to feel natural when worn.

The sleeves add a graphic element — a subtle shape that gives the shirt character without making it complicated.

It’s a shirt that works with your body, a signature design that easily adapts to your mood and style.

Made in Portugal in Limited Quantities – 10 to 20 Pieces per Style

Every AVA shirt is cut and sewn in Portugal — in small ateliers we know by name. You may already know Alexandra, our shirt maker, who brings decades of craft to every seam.

Each version is made from carefully sourced fabrics from Portuguese mills — often deadstock — which means availability is limited by what already exists.

That’s why each style is produced in small runs of 10–20 pieces.

When the fabric runs out, that version of AVA is gone.

How to Style the AVA Shirt – From Everyday Wear to More Dressed Occasions

AVA is designed to fit into your wardrobe — across moments, not just occasions.

For everyday wear, pair it with denim or loose trousers. Wear it slightly open, keep the look relaxed and effortless.

For work, button it up and combine it with tailored pants or a skirt. The silhouette stays clean and structured without feeling formal.

For evenings or more dressed settings, add contrast — darker tones, a heel, simple jewellery. The shirt holds its own and keeps the look balanced.

The idea is simple:
casual and elegant at the same time.

A Shirt You Return To

AVA evolves through fabric, but the design stays the same. It comes in different variations depending on the fabric and the intention of the style. Higher collar, length of the sleeves. delicate trims on cuffs etc.

It’s not made to be new each season — it’s made to be worn again and again, in different ways, over time.
